A : Yes, we take blood samples and all other types of samples required?

Q : Do we need an appointment for a blood test?
A : Yes, in order to avoid waiting. Some of our centers like the one at 3000 Montée St-Hubert, in St-Hubert are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to noon.

Q : Is the waiting period long?
A : No, especially if you have an appointment already.

Q : If I want an appointment, what will be the delay?
A : Most appointments can be scheduled on the same day or the next day.

Q : Is it long before we get the results of our blood test?
A : No, most results are expedited the same day. If a doctor requests an urgent analysis, we can send the results within the hour.

Q : Can we get a copy of our analysis?
A : The results are sent without any delay to your doctor. You can therefore request a copy of the results from your doctor. However if your doctor indicate on his regulation " copy to patient ", we will give a copy of the results.

Q : Do we need a prescription from a doctor before having a blood test?
A : Yes, it is mandatory to have a medical prescription before having a blood test.

Q : What are the costs of laboratory analysis?
A : It varies according to the analysis required. A detailed estimate is available upon request.

Q : Are the costs of laboratory analysis covered by private or group insurance?
A : In most cases, 80% to 100% of the costs are refundable within a ten-day period. We recommend that you verify with your insurance company or your employer. (Use the terms laboratory analysis instead of blood test)

Q : Do we need to have an empty stomach before a blood test?
A : You can call us and we will tell you if you need to have an empty stomach and for how long.

Q : Do you do the analysis?
A : Curalab is a medical laboratory that holds operation permits from the Public Health Laboratory of Quebec and from the Health and Social Services Ministry of Quebec.

Q : Do you do prenatal screening?
